IBRACON Structural Journal is a technical and scientifical divulgation vehicle of IBRACON. Each issue of the periodical will have 5 to 8 papers and, possibly, one technical note and one technical discussion about a previously published paper. All contributions will be formatted and reviewed by the Board of Reviewers. |
Objectives
The IBRACON Structural Journal has as main objectives:
• Present the current developments and advances in the area of structural concrete;
• Make possible the better understanding of structural concrete behavior, supplying subsidies for a continuous interaction among researchers, producers and users;
• Estimulate the development of scientific and technological research in the area of structural concrete, through papers peer-reviewed by a qualified Editorial Board;
• Promote the interaction among researchers, constructors and users of concrete and the development of Civil Construction;
• Make available a vehicle of communication of high technical level for researchers and designers in the area of structural concrete.
All IBRACON members will have free access to the periodical contents through the Internet. Non-members will have limitted access to the published material, but will be able to purchase isolated issues. The financial resources for the periodical support will be provided by IBRACON and by research funding agencies. The periodical will not receive any type of private advertisement that can jeopardize the credibility of the publication.
Each non-member author of a submitted paper will be charged a submission fee. This fee will not be refunded, if the paper comes to be rejected. Initially this fee is established to be US$10,00 (ten dollars) or R$ 30,00 (Thirty Reais).
