IBRACON - the Brazilian Institute of Concrete and ACI - American Concrete Institute, signed a term of agreement in which the two parties commit to work jointly to better disseminate concrete applications, hold events, courses and lectures. The interchange of technical documentation between the institutes will be expanded and technical visits and lectures on topics of mutual interest are to be planned.

IBRACON promoted the trip of a group of Brazilian professionals to Canada.
The exchange program was coordinated by Professor Pierre-Claude Aïtcin of the University of Sherbrooke, Quebec. He is an expert in the subject and accounts for the "Network of Centers of Excellence on High-Performance Concrete" in Canada.
