O objetivo básico do IBRACON, definido no artigo 3º do seu Estatuto, é proporcionar aos profissionais das áreas de tecnologia, estruturas e construções em concreto, maiores conhecimentos por meio de incentivos às investigações e pesquisas científicas e tecnológicas assim como sua divulgação e transferência ao meio.
The IBRACON’s basic objective as defined in Article 3 of the Statute, is to provide professionals in the areas of technology, structures and buildings in particular, greater knowledge through research and incentives for scientific and technological research and its dissemination and transfer

Dando continuidade aos trabalhos realizados em 1993 e 1996, o IBRACON está promovendo o Projeto Concreto Brasil com os seguintes objetivos: Continuing the work carried out in 1993 and 1996, IBRACON is promoting the project Concrete Brazil with the following objectives:

• Levantar junto ao meio técnico as necessidades de pesquisa e desenvolvimento
  Raise with the technical equipment needs of research and development
  
  
• Atuar junto aos orgãos de pesquisa e desenvolvimento estaduais e federais, para criar mais espaço para as pesquisas sobre o concreto
  Work together with the corporate research and development state and federal, to create more space for research on the concrete
  
• Intermediar, coordenar e gerenciar pesquisas de interesse das indústrias ligadas ao concreto.
  Tween coordinate and manage research for the industries related to the concrete.

Assim sendo, estamos solicitando o cadastro dos trabalhos que Entidades de pesquisas e estudos desenvolvem, ou que tenham desenvolvido, e que sejam pertinentes às áreas de Tecnologia e Estruturas de Concreto e ainda sugestões para pesquisas futuras.
So we are requesting the registration of business entities that research studies and develop, or have developed, and that are relevant to the areas of Technology and Concrete Structures and even suggestions for future research

As informações enviadas serão armazenadas no banco de dados do IBRACON para posterior divulgação aos seus associados, entidades mantenedoras e órgãos de fomento.
The information sent will be stored in IBRACON’s database for further dissemination to their members, sponsors and entities agencies.

Durante os Congressos anuais do IBRACON, serão realizadas Workshops de Pesquisa onde será apresentada a situação corrente da pesquisa no Brasil na tentativa de identificar áreas prioritárias para novos projetos de pesquisa. Estas áreas prioritárias contarão com o apoio do IBRACON e de seus mantenedores na solicitação de recursos junto aos órgãos de fomento para o desenvolvimento de projetos.
During the IBRACON’s annual Congress will be held workshops where research will be presented the current status of research in Brazil in an attempt to identify priority areas for new research projects. These priority areas will have the IBRACON’s support and their maintainers in the solicitation of funds from the funding agencies for the development of projects.

Solicitamos que os pesquisadores e Instituições de Pesquisa interessados preencham a ficha abaixo para cada projeto de pesquisa em andamento ou concluído. O processo de cadastro de projetos será contínuo, sendo importante que a cada novo projeto, o pesquisador cadastre as informações sobre o mesmo. Desta forma, o IBRACON poderá fornecer em breve aos seus associados a situação atual da pesquisa em nosso país, bem como um histórico da atuação dos diversos grupos de pesquisa.
We ask that researchers and research institutions interested fill out the form below for each research project in progress or completed. The registration process will be ongoing projects, it is important that each new project, the researcher sign about the same. So in this way, the IBRACON may soon provide to their members the status of research in our country, as well as a historical performance of the various research groups.

O IBRACON procura com esta iniciativa estimular a interação entre as necessidades da indústria e as atividades de pesquisa e desenvolvimento. A própria interação entre os diversos grupos de pesquisa em diferentes instituições será fortemente beneficiada por meio da transferência de informações, abrindo possibilidades de cooperação.
IBRACON looks for this initiative to encourage interaction between the needs of industry and research and development. The actual interaction between the various research groups in different institutions will be greatly benefited by the transfer of information, opening up possibilities of cooperation.
